There are lots of international students who can drive a car in N.Z. nowadays. However, some countries have a difference to drive a car. I think it is essential to gain a driver's license before they drive here. This following essay will show some reasons for my opinion.

Firstly, it can absolutely reduce the rate of car accident. For example, if we are preparing for the test to get a driver's license, we must have good knowledge about situation of roads, traffic signs and rules as well as how to drive. This helps us to understand easily and clearly how to drive in this country.

Secondly, some countries have a point of difference of driving. We have to drive on the left side of the roads in this country but not in some countries. Furthermore in my country, you can drive 80km/h in general roads, 110km/h in highway and 60km/h in provincial roads. There are quite different driving systems.

So, what I’m saying is that every international student has to pass a driving test before they are allowed to drive a car, even though they have got an international driver license. I suppose the most important things are their own safety, correct comprehension about situation of roads, traffic signs and rules as well as how to drive.
